Since the acquisition by GEA Group Aktiengesellschaft, GEA FES developed the G Series rotary screw compressor packages, including the GS, GM and GL families of compressors.  In 2005 the IntelliSoc, electronic liquid injection system was developed and at the start of 2007, the GForce microprocessor 'touch screen' control for refrigeration compressor and system control was announced.

During 2009, GEA FES, added an additional 20,000 sq. ft. to its manufacturing area, primarily to manufacture heat exchangers for the geothermal power industry.
