All seminars are designed to provide attendees with a basic knowledge about the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial refrigeration equipment and systems. More specifically, GEA FES equipment including rotary screw compressor packages, refrigeration control systems, communications, and supervisory systems. This is accomplished through both lecture and hands-on segments during the seminars so attendees will have an opportunity to participate in various activities. All attendees will have opportunities to operate and troubleshoot fully functional control panels and communication networks. Additionally, seminars offered at the GEA FES facility in York, PA will include hands-on opportunities with the screw compressors as well (based on availability). Seminar participants should be familiar with basic refrigeration systems and electricity or controls operation. This course is not intended to cover specific equipment installations or detailed refrigeration engineering theory.
